Missionary Ventures in East Africa

 

Jacky & Hilary Tumusiime are Assemblies of God missionaries from New Zealand based in Kampala.

 

They introduce mobile Bible Colleges into different parts of Uganda.  Using qualified indigenous teachers, a comprehensive and practical course equips pastors and church leaders with important ministry skills.

 

A wonderful partnership is developing between Missionary Ventures and New Life, whereby we  are able to help pastors within a selected church planting ministry to attend and gain a Bible College education on the job.  For a small monthly fee the pastor receives one week of classroom training per month over one or two years and is awarded a certificate or diploma.  Nigel Harding is also a guest lecturer at their Kampala locations.

 

The course is linked to the curriculum of Glad Tidings Bible College in Kampala, where a student can take his studies further if he wishes.

 

Many pastors enter the ministry with nothing but the call of God, a minimal general education and little or no training in pastoral work.  For just $10 per month you can support a pastor to gain the vital tools needed to function more effectively in his ministry and the community.
