Pastors in the North
Northern Uganda, or Acholiland – a land hosting approximately one million people, who have seen twenty years of civil war, suffering and oppression. With the apparent end to violence in the north by the Lord's Resistance Army, people are returning to their villages. There are tremendous opportunities in church planting and pastoral support.
Pastor David Otto (pictured) is one such friend, based in Kitgum Town, less than 40 miles from the Sudanese border. We share his vision to reach the displaced and hurting people through church planting, crusades, conferences and much more. The time is right for faith-based outreach like discipleship, leadership training, women and children ministries.
We have facilitated various community development projects in different villages to support pastors families desperate for economic breakthrough.
By using these types of projects we can help people discover their God-given potential and improve their quality of life.
Many exciting doors are opening for our field co-ordinators,
Rex & Melinda Guynn, to carry the love of God to the people
of northern Uganda.
