Tippy Tap
The community health education programme is very comprehensive. It emphasises the availability of local resources otherwise overlooked.
A popular example is the Tippy-Tap, which utilises a modified Jerry Can (or large bottle) for washing hands after visiting the latrine. The children love these and do not need persuading to wash their hands.
Notice the stick foot-pedal, which saves the bottle from contamination from dirty hands. A simple but effective hygeinic tool at no expense.
