Pastor Umar Mulinde
Umar was a graduate of Islamic propaganda and a sheikh who grew up in a staunch Muslim family, where his father was the local Imam.
He heard the Gospel clearly explained in relation to his religion at an outdoor meeting when he was a university student. He was so challenged that after a period of searching he gave his life completely to Jesus Christ.
He is an evangelist and church planter with an outstanding ability to debate and challenge the religion from which he came in any public forum.
He has now set up a training centre, enabling others with a similar zeal to understand the Bible, its application and gain relevant skills to reach Muslims of Africa with the love and living power of Jesus.
Eva, his wife is a well known gospel singer in Uganda and works with adult and children's choirs with great adeptness.
